Here are some concepts and assets I created at a 24hr Game Jam in Feb 2017.
I concentrated on character assets and some props.
My team consisted of 5 people (Designer, Developer, x 2 Artists, and a Tester plus our Mentor). The theme was space, and we decided to make a game out of our team name! Unfortunately it didn’t go as well as we hoped, and we didn’t manage to get a build with all the game-play features. :(

Savage Space Potato: S.P.U.D GUN.
The character collects the smiley Collectable Potatoes (right) to create Potato Bullets (left) which damage the enemy Space Potatoes! The S.P.U.D GUN would also suck in scrap metal for repairing the space ship tunnel.

I modelled and textured, my fellow artist Ben Snowball rigged and animated this guy!
Sweet Space Potato (Animated)
I used the Hot Potato's geometry, textures and rig as the basis for the Sweet Potato. Working with time constraints means that this approach is more productive.

A collaboration between Ben Snowball and me. He took my gun and turned it into a turret, then re-textured!
